Value Driven Testing

This four-day course is aimed at people that just started or will start testing in value driven software development cycles like SCRUM and KANBAN. The training will introduce trainees to the basic principles of agile software testing and testing practices.

Through the use of practical examples and lots of hands-on exercises, the most common terminology, core principles and main techniques relevant for testing in a value driven software development environment will become clear as well as the differences between testing in a plan driven software development cycle and a value driven software development cycle. JIRA Software and Adaptavist Test Manager for JIRA are introduced as tools that support value driven software testing.

Having finished the training, trainees will know what is expected from them as (junior) testers and will be able to jump start any value driven software testing project.

Course Objectives

The goal of this course is to gain a basic understanding of the basic principles of value driven software testing and to be able to apply these principles in any value driven software testing project.
