The use of structured testing is a crucial step forward in increasing software quality. This introduction explains the principles of structured testing and gives an overview of the existing methodologies. During this three-day course the different phases and activities that are part of a structured test process will be explained based on STBoX.

STBoX (Software Testing Based On eXperience) is the test methodology of CTG and is based on the experience of our consultants and in line with the industry standards (IEEE, BS, …). It was created in 2006 and regularly updated according to the latest standards.

Through the use of practical examples and exercises the most common testing terminology and testing concepts will become clear. An overview of the various types of test tools and their basic functionalities is also provided.
